Elizabeth
Watkins

FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

OF REFRESH FRISCO

After earning her Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from Northern Arizona University and her MBA from Gonzaga University, Elizabeth Watkins moved to Frisco in 2007.

Upon moving to Frisco, Ms. Watkins began volunteering with local food pantries and became involved with her children's PTAs. She has also served as a board member on the FISD Council of PTAs. Inspired by her work with the Frisco community and Christian faith, Ms. Watkins earned her Nonprofit Management Certificate and founded Refresh Frisco in 2019.

Refresh Frisco is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides hygiene products to students in Frisco and Little Elm ISD. Their goal is to keep local kids feeling clean and confident. Over 1200 students receive a hygiene kit every three months. The kits are customized based on the child's age and gender preference, and Refresh also offers ethnic hair products.

Refresh Frisco has received several nominations and awards for its work in the community. It was a finalist for D CEO Magazine's Nonprofit Organization of the Year (2021) and the Frisco Chamber of Commerce's Nonprofit of the Year (2021). Refresh Frisco is also the winner of Frisco Style's 2021 Best of Business award and has been featured in the Dallas Morning News, Community Impact Newspaper, Lifestyle Frisco, and Little Elm Living Magazine.

Outside of Refresh Frisco, Ms. Watkins enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, sons Jimmy and Liam, and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She loves to visit art museums and attend plays and musicals whenever possible. You can typically find her reading a book.
